2012

Photos from my grandma's New Years Day party. (4) is my team (the Christmas Trees) playing the nursery rhyme game (similar to pictionary).

This year, I only want to have one New Year's Resolution and it's going to be the same as last year:

to be the happiest I can be while being the best that I can be.

It's the perfect resolution and it worked so well this year. It's hard to break because it's two things I strive for everyday and that's what I want from a resolution; a goal that isn't impossible to achieve.

I do think having goals for the year is a good idea, and it's always fun. In keeping with the whole number thing from the end of last year, I've got 12 things I want to have achieved by the end of this year:
  1. I want to learn how to dance. Or at least take dancing lessons.
  2. I want to improve my cooking skills (and be able to make more than crumpets and burnt toast).
  3. I want to make new friends.
  4. I want to be proud of my A Level results.
  5. I want my first term in University to be successful.
  6. I want to finish my summer 2010 scrapbook.
  7. I want to be better at managing my money.
  8. I want to be less lazy.
  9. I want to be healthier, even if that means 1 piece of fruit a week or the gym every 2 months.
  10. I want to learn to put my school work first.
  11. I want to finish my "school memories" scrapbook.
  12. I want to have lots of adventures.
Here's hoping I achieve it all. I hope you all had a magical new year and that 2012 is everything you want it to be!
